Guitar Orchestra

Guitar Orchestra Class is for ages 8 and up and range anywhere from 10-15 students in a class. Classes are 1 hour long and the cost is $425 for the semester.

Take your guitar playing to the next level by joining our Guitar Orchestra! Designed for students ages 8 and up with basic playing experience, this exciting ensemble class develops musicianship through the fun and rewarding experience of making music together.

Students will learn to perform as part of a guitar ensemble, building skills in rhythm, listening, teamwork, dynamics, sight-reading, and musical expression. Each player contributes an important part, creating rich, orchestral-style arrangements that are both challenging and inspiring.

Whether your goal is to improve your confidence, prepare for performances, or simply enjoy making music with others, Guitar Orchestra provides the perfect opportunity to grow as a guitarist while experiencing the excitement of ensemble playing.

Throughout the class, students will:

• Learn simple melodic arrangements

• Play simple songs together as a group

• Develop rhythm and listening skills

• Practice basic music reading 

• Decipher between melody and harmony

• ​Learn how to perform in front of an audience

This class focuses on creativity, collaboration, and the joy of making music with a performance at the end of the semester.
