Staff: Manases Gonzalez- Beginning-Advanced Guitar/Bass/Ukulele

Manases is a professional musician and educator with over 8 years of international teaching and performance experience. He has a solid academic
background in classical music, orchestral performance, and contemporary styles. Manases is an experienced guitar soloist, ensemble performer, orchestral musician, and private instructor, with a strong pedagogical approach focused on technique, musicianship, musical literacy, and artistic development.
Manases is currently a Guitar and Bass Instructor at Yamaha School of Music teaching guitar technique, rhythm, harmony, sight reading, ear training, stylistic interpretation, and performance preparation, with a focus on consistent musical progress, student engagement, and adaptability to online learning environments.

Manases has extensive professional performance experience as Principal Guitarist with the Alma Llanera Regional Orchestra of Zulia, and as French Horn player with multiple regional orchestras. He currently performs as Fourth French Horn with the Southwest Florida Concert Band (since October 2025). His orchestral performance experience includes appearances as French horn player with a regional orchestra at the Simo Bolivar Theatre in Caracas, Venezuela. Manses is an active ensemble musician as guitarist in a professional bachata group, in addition to regular solo guitar performances in restaurants and live venues. He has been a featured soloist performing Vivaldi’s Concerto for Guitar and Strings in D Major with string quintet at Nucleo Lagunillas and presented classical guitar solo recitals in various theaters throughout his home country. His international performance experience includes representing Venezuela on the Europe Tour 2015, with concerts in Russia and the Netherlands. 

Manases has formal music studies in French Horn Performance at the University of Zulia (LUZ), with advanced orchestral, chamber music, and academic coursework completed. He also has classical guitar training from the Jose Luis Paz Conservatory and professional guitar education through extensive private studies with recognized classical guitarists including long-term instruction under a professor trained by Roland Dyens. 

Manases as won awards and recognitions such as Second Prize, Guitar Category, Bach International Music Competition, October 15, 2024, Gdańsk, Poland.
