Advanced Painting

Advanced Painting Class can range anywhere from 10-20 students in a class. Classes are 1 hour and a half long, and the cost is $500 (August-December or January-May, a total of 17 weeks including Thanksgiving Break and Spring Break).

Our Advanced Painting class is designed for young artists ages 13 and up who are ready to dive deeper into the world of visual art. This skill-building class introduces essential painting techniques while encouraging creativity and personal expression. Students will learn about the Elements and Principles of Art, while using various media.

Students will:

• Learn key art concepts such as line, value, shading, proportion, and color theory

• Practice drawing from observation and imagination using pencils, charcoal, and ink

• Explore painting with watercolors, tempera, pastels, acrylics, and many more!

• Study inspiring artists and styles from different times and cultures

• Create original artwork through guided projects and creative exploration

This class builds on a strong foundation while allowing room for individual style and growth. Whether your child paints as a hobby, is looking to build on their current skills, or wants to build a professional portfolio, this class offers a supportive, engaging environment where creativity thrives.
