


Advanced Drawing Class
Advanced Drawing Classes can range anywhere from 5-15 students in a class. Classes are 1 hour and 30 minutes long, and the cost is $400 (August-December or January-May, a total of 17 weeks including Thanksgiving Break and Spring Break).

This advanced drawing class is designed for students ages 13 and up who are ready to take their skills to the next level. Ideal for teens interested in building a strong portfolio for personal growth, this course focuses on refining technique, developing a unique style, and producing polished, high-quality work. Students will learn about the Elements and Principles of art, whiles using various media, such as colored pencils, charcoal pastels, marker, and ink!

In this class, students will:

Strengthen foundational skills in line, value, proportion, perspective, and composition

Work from observation (still life, figure, and portrait) as well as from imagination

Explore advanced techniques using graphite, charcoal, ink, and mixed media

Receive individual feedback and guidance tailored to personal goals and portfolio needs

Learn how to curate and present a cohesive body of work for portfolio submission

Class projects are designed to challenge and inspire, while allowing room for creative exploration and self-direction. This is a focused, supportive environment where serious young artists can grow their confidence, skills, and artistic voice.
