


Kindergarten/1st Grade Homeschool Art Class
K/1 Homeschool Art Classes can range anywhere from 10-20 students in a class. Classes are 1 hour long, and the cost is $375 (August-December or January-May, a total of 17 weeks including Thanksgiving Break and Spring Break).
Our homeschool art class for ages 5–7 is a joyful introduction to the world of art, specially designed for kindergarten and 1st grade students. In this fun, hands-on class, young learners explore a wide variety of art materials and techniques while developing fine motor skills, creativity, and confidence. Students will take a journey through time and explore techniques of the masters covering Prehistoric Art through Renaissance in the Fall, and Early American art through Modern Art in the Spring semester for a full rounded curriculum!

Each semester, students will:

Experiment with drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, and more

Learn basic art concepts like color mixing, shapes, patterns, and texture

Explore famous artists and simple art history through age-appropriate stories and projects

Practice following directions, trying new ideas, and expressing themselves through art
