


Music Exploration Class
Music Exploration Class is for ages 8 and up and range anywhere from 10-20 students in a class. Classes are 1 hour long and the cost is $425 for the semester.

Join us for a fun and dynamic musical journey where students explore a new instruments and mediums of music every month! Perfect for students who want to explore music but aren't sure what instrument to play or want to build on their curiosity of music. This rotating class introduces foundational music skills through hands-on learning in different categories such as:

Basic Music Theory: Learn the basics of reading notes, rhythms, and how music is created through processes and fundamentals

Instrument Exploration: Take your music theory knowledge to the next step by applying it to instruments such as drums, pitched and unpitched percussion, and stringed instruments such as guitar and ukulele

Foley Music & Sound FX: Create soundscapes using everyday objects and learn how sound brings stories to life, just like in the movies!

Band Instruments and Composition: Get a taste of wind and brass instruments (like trumpet, flute, or clarinet) through guided tryouts and fun ensemble play. Students will also have the opportunity to write their own music in programs like Noteflight (laptop required)

Whether it’s their first time in a music class or they’ve already had some experience, students will build confidence, knowledge, and a lifelong love of music. Instruments provided in class – just bring your enthusiasm!
