Ukulele Class

Music Exploration Class is for ages 7 and up and range anywhere from 10-15 students in a class. Classes are 1 hour long and the cost is $425 for the semester.

This fun and welcoming class introduces kids to the ukulele through singing, strumming, and playing songs together. The ukulele is a great first instrument because of its small size, friendly sound, and easy-to-learn chords.

Students will learn the basics of holding and tuning the instrument, simple chord shapes, and steady strumming patterns. Through engaging songs and group activities, kids will build rhythm skills, coordination, and musical confidence while making music with friends.

Throughout the class, students will:

• Learn beginner chords and strumming patterns

• Play simple songs together as a group

• Develop rhythm and listening skills

• Practice basic music reading and chord charts

• Build confidence performing for others

This class focuses on creativity, collaboration, and the joy of making music. By the end of the session, students will be able to play several songs and continue exploring music on the ukulele at home.
