Homeschool Choir Class

Homeschool Choir classes can range anywhere from 10-25 students in a class. Classes are 1 hour and 30 minutes long and the cost is $400 (August-December or January-May, a total of 17 weeks including Thanksgiving Break and Spring Break).

Choir classes will provide the opportunity of being in a class with peers and a performing ensemble. Being in choir offers many benefits including self expression, cognitive development, opportunities for socialization, self discipline, lower stress levels, studies show that students of the arts continue to outperform their non-arts peers in academia. The list is endless!

Here are some examples of learning elements students will encounter in choir class:

• Counting, reading, and singing rhythms

• Reading notes of the staff and how to read sheet music

• Ensemble singing

• Independent singing with solo opportunities

• Correct vocal technique 

• Socialization

• Performance opportunities

• Having fun!

This is a performance based class with a scheduled performance at the end of the session.
