Pop-Up Clay and Pottery

Service Description

In this hands-on pop up clay class, students explore the art of working with clay through both hand-building techniques and the pottery wheel when applicable. Designed for creativity and skill-building, the class introduces students to a variety of methods for shaping and transforming clay into unique functional and decorative pieces. Students will learn foundational hand-building techniques such as pinching, coiling, and slab construction to create items like bowls, sculptures, and small vessels. Throughout the class, students develop patience, focus, and artistic confidence while learning about texture, form, and surface design.
