Let's be real: Learning an instrument as an adult is tricky. It's often intimidating, involves questionable noises, and sometimes you just want to giggle about it. That's where the Dynamic Terrible Band comes in. What We Are (And Are Not): We ARE: A welcoming, adults-only (18+) group dedicated to beginner-level instrumentalists. Seriously, if you haven't played since 5th grade or just bought your first clarinet, you're in the right place. We ARE: A safe, zero-judgment zone for experimentation, error, and epic amounts of silly fun. We encourage growth, but we prioritize the good time. We ARE NOT: A high-pressure, competitive, or frankly, good band. If you're looking for Carnegie Hall, this is not it. If you're looking for a laugh and to finally play that thing in the corner of your closet, welcome home. What to Expect: Safety First, Mistakes Always: We guarantee you'll make mistakes. We also guarantee no one cares. We are here to learn and grow, and that process is delightfully messy. Silliness Encoded: If you take yourself too seriously, this might be tough. We are here to make mistakes, have fun, and enjoy the love and laughter music can bring. Real, Measurable Progress: Despite the name, we do get better. You'll learn to read music, improve your technique, and build confidence—all while enjoying the journey with others who are equally "terrible" (for now!). Forget the pressure. Grab your instrument. Let's make some beautifully awful music together.

Cancellation Policy
ATTENDANCE Any class a student cannot attend requires 24 hours notice to Dynamic Education. If a student is ill and cannot attend, please notify us by 8:00 AM the day of the class as a courtesy to the teacher. The last 3 weeks of classes attendance is required! We prep for performances and if the students are not present, they are not there to rehearse. Due to the structure of classes, missed classes with proper notice cannot be rescheduled, as they are only offered at a specific day and time every week. If classes are missed, there are no make-up opportunities or refunds. TARDINESS Students should arrive 5-10 minutes prior to their scheduled class time. Classes are back to back with 15 minutesfor transitions. If you are running late to the scheduled class, an email or text message needs to be sent to the teacher. Any missed minutes WILL NOT be made up. (For example: if you are 10 minutes late to a 60 minute class, the class will be 50 minutes long) TEACHER MISSED CLASSES If the instructor needs to miss a class due to a performance or self/family illness, or other family related situation, Dynamic Education will credit payment from that class toward another class in the future. Dynamic Teachers are permitted 1 sick day without credits or make up classes. VISITORS AT CLASSES (not for infant/toddler music) For the safety of students and others, parents are not permitted to stay in the classroom while class is in session. Parents can sit in the lobby during their child’s class or they may leave and run errands for the hour. High School students with a valid license may drive themselves to their classes, with parent permission. DISCONTINUATION If the student and parent/guardian desire to discontinue music classes, the student will receive classes through the end of the paid semester, which per contract is due at that start of classes. At the end of the semester, classes will discontinue. No refund will be given for classes which were already paid for. Classes are to be paid in full before they begin on the first day. We reserve the right to discontinue classes for a student at any point due to inappropriate, disrespectful, or violent behavior from the student or parent/guardian. CANCELLATIONS Cancellation of attending a semester class can occur 2 weeks before the scheduled first class session. A full refund will be given. No refunds will be given after the 2 week grace period or after class sessions have started.
