HOMESCHOOL MUSIC CLASSES DESCRIPTIONS
Elementary Music Classes K-5
These classes are for elementary-aged kids (K-5) and are centered around having the same experience they would in a public-school setting. Each grade level will have its own lessons and experiences with music. Having a consistent music schedule will help your child exceed in their virtual and homeschool studies and help with being at home.
All grade levels will include songs and lessons that are culturally diverse, correlate to academic studies, and have students sing, say, dance, and play in a tuneful, beatful, artful way.
Band Classes
Band classes are for students with no experience to very little experience. Students enrolled in band class will be offered the opportunity of being in a band with peers and a performing ensemble. Being in band offers many benefits including self-expression, cognitive development, opportunities for socialization, self-discipline, lower stress levels, and studies show that students of the arts continue to outperform their non-arts peers in academia. The list is endless!

Choir Class
Choir classes will provide the opportunity of being in a class with peers and a performing ensemble. Being in choir offers many benefits including self-expression, cognitive development, opportunities for socialization, self-discipline, lower stress levels, studies show that students of the arts continue to outperform their non-arts peers in academia. The list is endless!

Ukulele Group/Homeschool Ukulele
Ukulele is a great beginning instrument that offers a great amount of success to most students. The instrument is small and achievable for many ages. Being in a music class offers many benefits including self-expression, cognitive development, opportunities for socialization, self-discipline, lower stress levels, and studies show that students of the arts continue to outperform their non-arts peers in academia. The list is endless!

Drumming: Drums Alive!
Being in an ensemble offers many benefits including self-expression, cognitive development, opportunities for socialization, self-discipline, lower stress levels, and studies show that students of the arts continue to outperform their non-arts peers in academia. The list is endless!
Drumming promotes:
Better communication better with their fellow students
Understand and demonstrate the value and techniques of cooperative teamwork.
Demonstrate techniques for playing various types of drums and other percussion equipment.
Sing songs with percussion and other instruments from various multicultural traditions.
Improvise new drumming ensemble patterns which are complementary to those played by other students.
Move to music while singing or playing instruments.
Listen actively and critically to various styles of music which include percussion. While listening, students will:
echo drum patterns played by others
identify the type of instruments being played
recognize and label styles of music
identify the probable culture from which the music comes.
MUSICAL THEATRE SKILLS CLASSES
These classes are for ages 5-7 or 8 plus for 1 hour and are $375 for the 17-week semester. These high-energy classes introduce young performers to the exciting world of musical theatre through singing, dancing, acting, and imaginative play. Each week, students explore the building blocks of performance—learning fun choreography, practicing songs from kid-friendly musicals, acting out stories, and even creating their own sound effects with foley tools. Through creative games and group activities, children build confidence, coordination, and stage presence while working together to bring mini scenes and musical numbers to life. Perfect for little stars with big imaginations!

MUSIC CLASSES FEE AND PAYMENT
Music classes are paid for as a bulk plan/session and not individually. Music Classes include any of the homeschools music classes (band, choir, elementary music, orchestra, musical theatre skills, ukulele, and drumming). We accept debit or credit cards per the online booking option through the website (Dynamiceducationstudio.com) or cash and checks made out to Dynamic Education in person at the first class. Classes are to be paid in full online or the day before the start of the first class. There is no “pay as you go” option for classes, as they are in bulk session. It is important to commit to these classes in order to not get behind in music instruction and curriculum being taught.
We are proud providers of the Step-Up for Students Scholarship and are direct providers. Payment for any classes can be paid through the marketplace online. Payments through the marketplace for the semester long courses (17 weeks) are divided between 5 equal payments. Clients will need to select 5 payments of the class they are registered for.

Fall Semester: $500 for 17 weeks. Due by August 11th, 2025
Step-up: 5 equal payments of $100

ATTENDANCE
Any class a student cannot attend requires 24 hours' notice to Dynamic Education. If a student is ill and cannot attend, please notify us by 8:00 AM the day of the class as a courtesy to the teacher. Failure to do so may result in the student not being able to participate in classes again in the future.
Due to the structure of classes, missed classes with proper notice cannot be rescheduled, as they are only offered at a specific day and time every week. If classes are missed, there are no make-up opportunities or refunds.
TEACHER MISSED CLASSES
The instructor is granted 1 day to miss a class. (1 sick day) Any days beyond the 1 sick day will result in the following:
Prorated Last Month of class (step up)
Coupon discount off the next class or lesson (self-pay)
FLOATERS/WAITLIST
When there is an overload (too many students and not enough open spots), we will have students known as “floaters”. These students will be emailed about any openings within the first 2 weeks of classes. After two weeks, the waitlist will close, and students will have to register for the next session. Be sure to check your email often as these are first come first serve.
HOMESCHOOL BAND and HOMESCHOOL ORCHESTRA
Students are required to provide their own instruments. For direction or advice on where to purchase instruments, please contact a local music store or the instructor directly. All band students should have a pencil, method book recommended by the teacher, and a folding music stand.
HOMESCHOOL CHOIR
Students will need a 3 ring, 1 inch binder and their beautiful voices for choir class! A pencil and a bag to carry the binder and supplies might be helpful.
HOMESCHOOL ELEMENTARY MUSIC
Students will only need themselves and a ready to learn attitude for elementary music class! All materials and instruction will be provided.
UKULELE GROUP/HOMESCHOOL UKULELE
Students can bring their own ukulele to class, but there will be ukuleles at the studio provided. Students will also need a 3 ring binder for music and method materials they will need.
DRUMMING
Students will only need themselves and a ready to learn attitude for drumming class! All materials and instruction will be provided.
MUSICAL THEATRE SKILLS
Students will only need themselves and a ready to learn attitude for drumming class! All materials and instruction will be provided.
INFANT/ TODDLER MUSIC TIME
Children and parents will only need themselves and a ready to learn attitude for infant toddler music class! All materials and instruction will be provided. Parents are REQUIRED to stay for these classes.
SHEET MUSIC
Dynamic Education will provide all sheet music for classes and performance. However, any method books must be purchased by the student/parent prior to the start of classes.
VISITORS AT CLASSES
Parents may sit in the lobby during their child’s class or drop off and return. We also have a picnic bench outside and chairs to use to wait. The lobby can get crowed, so we do recommend you leave and come back or wait in your car for the hour.
DISCONTINUATION
If the student and parent/guardian desire to discontinue music classes, the student will receive classes through the end of the paid session. At the end of the session, classes will discontinue, and the student will forfeit their class slot. No refund will be given for classes which were already paid for.
We reserve the right to discontinue classes, at any point, due to inappropriate or disrespectful behavior from the student or parent. Clear and consistent communication will be given to the parent in those instances, discontinuation is the last resort.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation of paid class sessions can occur the week before the scheduled first class session. A full refund will be given. No refunds will be given after class sessions have started
